In these photos I decided to approach the theme of movement by mixing it with nostalgia. My thoughts on the subject then extend to the excitement and euphoria in motion during the summer.
While traveling in Spain I headed towards a new horizon and by taking photos of people who were also going towards the horizon I then created a proximity and a link between the subject and me which did not exist before I photographed them . The subjects of my photos are made anonymous to focus my point of view entirely on their moving bodies.
This anonymity also allows the viewer to project their memory onto my work and make it their own. By changing the colors in my photos I aim to remove my work from a specific temporal or geographical space to distance the viewer from reality by creating an almost extra-terrestrial atmosphere.
As a result, my work looks less like a staging and more like a capture of a dreamlike moment.
